We pride ourselves on staying at the cutting edge of medical research. As such we regularly up skill our team so they can include the latest medical advancements in the treatments given to their patients. Our physiotherapists are skilled at spinal mobilisation and manipulation, post operative recovery, acupuncture and muscle imbalance retraining.

 

Vishal Madhani
MCSP, SRP, BSc (hons)

Vishal, our senior physiotherapist has over nine years experience within the physiotherapy industry. He commenced his career in occupational physiotherapy at Honda UK Manufacturing, where he looked after a huge work force that was susceptible to repetitive injuries. During his evenings and weekends he provided Sports Physiotherapy for a football team – Wilshire FA Centre of Excellence.

Vishal then worked in varied private practices throughout central London. Being in contact with key orthopaedic consultants, he gained a wealth of knowledge on complex musculoskeletal cases. His skills were further refined when he was in charge of developing and running a Chronic Pain Programme.

For the past two and a half years he has been based on the prestigious Harley Street, in the heart of the west end. This allowed Vishal to again closely interact with orthopaedic surgeons who referred their patients for rehabilitation directly to him.

In his spare time, Vishal regularly attends the gym, carries out long distance cycling and triathlons.


Grace Keene
BSc Physiotherapy, Senior Physiotherapist

Grace qualified from Kings College London with a BSc in Physiotherapy. On a background of working with elite Skiers and Surfers Grace has developed an interest in musculoskeletal injuries and exercise based rehabilitation.

Grace has continued to develop her passion for rehabilitation in sports with Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ RFC, South Africa 7’s RFC and is currently the head Physio at Westcombe Park RFC, as well as involvement with the England RFU youth teams.

Having worked in both the NHS and Private Practice Grace also has experience of Neurological, Respiratory and Post-surgical recovery. Working alongside local consultants and specialist interest groups, Grace uses a combination manual therapy, exercise and to provide the best all round care for her patients and get them back to doing the things they love.

Outside of work Grace is a keen runner and enjoys cycling, dance and of course surfing when she can get her toes in the water.

Melanie Jamali
Bachelor of Physiotherapy | Senior Physiotherapist

Melanie trained at Monash University in Australia. After completing her studies she started working for the public health service in Melbourne. There she gained experience in treating patients in a wide range of settings including acute orthopaedics, post surgical and neurological rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Department. While in Melbourne, Melanie also worked with state league football teams and national league futsal teams to prevent, manage and rehabilitate injuries.

Since moving to London, Melanie has been working in the private musculoskeletal sector. She is also additionally trained in acupuncture and clinical pilates. Melanie’s main interests lie in treating neck and back pain, and sports injuries through a combination of manual therapies and exercise based therapies. In her spare time Melanie enjoys yoga and playing tennis.


Saoussen
Principle Receptionist

Saoussen was born and raised in Tunisia and moved to London over 10 years ago. She is fluent in all dialects of Arabic and French, which is valuable for our international clientele. She enjoys meeting all our patients and seeing them improve throughout their treatment. Saoussen is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Ali Scott
Practice Manager

Ali has been with the clinic for many years and being an ex-physiotherapist means she knows how a successful Physiotherapy Clinic in London should operate. Ali works part time and is in charge of patient satisfaction and the finer details of the running of West 1 Physiotherapy and Pilates.
